Game Artist

We are looking for a junior Game Artist to join us on one of our live games. In this team you’ll get to work on a wide variety of tasks from concepts to final assets, and breathe life into them with animation and motion design.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Lead Artist/Director
  • Maintain quality and consistency across your work to meet objectives, quality bar, and schedule.
  • Implement game features with other developers in the team
  • Optimize the games to run smoothly on mobile platforms
  • Participate in prototyping new game features
  • Model, render and animate new core game elements
  • Pose characters, and model 3D low-poly environments and props
  • Hand-Painted texturing
  • Create UI layouts in Unity, following the existing UI style
  • Animate 2D asset using Spine or Unity

Who we think will do great in this role:

  • Expertise with Photoshop and/or Illustrator, including a well-developed sense of color and composition
  • Expertise in at least one 3D modelling package
  • Ability to create UV maps and textures
  • Strong conceptualization ability, visual communication ability, and drawing skills
  • Ability to create both inspiring concepts as well as final game assets
  • Great interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate with other team members
  • A positive collaborative and professional working attitude is a must
  • Prior experience working on Unity game projects is a bonus
  • 1+ years of relevant experience is a bonus
  • Working remotely  is an option
  • English or Italian skills
